Group Therapy

CRC has many group therapy opportunities, including DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy) for women, DBT for men, Becomers (a women’s group for adult victims of childhood sexual abuse), Restoration Project (a highly effective, intense group for adult male sex offenders), and Boundaries.

DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy)

An ongoing program that addresses interpersonal chaos, a sense of perpetual crisis, and deregulated emotional and cognitive patterns.  A six month weekly commitment is necessary.  Concurrent individual therapy required.

Becomers

A 9 step, 19 week group for women dealing with the effects of childhood sexual abuse.  Provides a safe and accepting atmosphere and healthy support system in which members can actively participate with God in healing their damaged emotions and challenge negative thought patterns.  Topics included are shame and guilt, self-identity issues and forgiveness. Individual therapy highly recommended.

Boundaries

If you are interested in learning more about how to set and maintain appropriate boundaries in your interpersonal relationships or would like to learn how to build relationships while staying protected, contact CRC at 763.566.0088 x110 to register early for this upcoming group.
