This year's Evening of Hope will take place on November 11, 2011 (11/11/11) at the Doubletree Hotel in St. Louis Park, MN and our theme is Love in Action!  Evening of Hope is a fundraiser that helps Christian Recovery Counseling serve those in need of Christian counseling but do not have the ability to pay for these services. Our guest speaker will be Mike Yankoski, author of Under the Overpass and Zealous Love. In 2003, Mike and another young man, Sam, took five months out of their lives to live as homeless men in six U.S. cities.  They gained a better understanding of the plight of the homeless and how we can better serve them.  Like Christian Recovery Counseling, Mike has a heart for the under-served.  While living amongst the homeless, he saw many battling the same mental health issues that CRC works with every day.  Mike continues to work on behalf of the underserved and undervalued in our world.

Doors open at 5:30pm for appetizers, fellowship and gift shopping with Celebrate Your Faith. Celebrate Your Faith carries a number of wonderful books, bibles, jewelry and home decor items that reflect your faith. A portion of each sale will be used to benefit the ministry of Christian Recovery Counseling. Dinner will be served at 6:30 and the program will begin at 7:00. The program will end by 9:00.
