CRC offers a number of therapy groups to best meet our clients’ needs. Group therapy is a powerful and life-changing treatment for many clients. Group offerings, times, and availability frequently change; therefore, please call our front desk to inquire about current groups.
Therapeutic Lifestyle Changes
The Therapeutic Lifestyle Changes (TLC) group is ideal for someone who is diagnosed with depression or anxiety (from mild to severe). This group teaches participants powerful research-supported lifestyle changes used to improve mood symptoms by promoting lifelong lifestyle changes and effective coping methods. The TLC group is approximately 12 sessions in length.
Dialectical Behavior Therapy
Our DBT group teaches clients four specific skill sets: mindfulness, interpersonal effectiveness, emotional regulation, and distress tolerance. This group also focuses on living in the here and now and decreasing rumination on the past or excessive worrying about the future. Clients are encouraged to learn new skills and to practice applying these skills to their daily life. DBT takes approximately 12 weeks to complete.
The Becomers group is a nine step therapy group for women dealing with the effects of childhood sexual abuse. This supportive group encourages clients to recognize negative thought patterns, develop a positive identity, reclaim joy and control in their lives, and move forward from the damaging impact of abuse. The Becomers group is approximately 26 weeks in length.
Restoration Project Groups
Restoration Project (RP) is a court-approved treatment program designed to help individuals who have sexually offended become healthy, safe and productive members of their family, church and community.
