Christopher has his Master’s of Clinical Social Work from the University of Alabama, Tuscaloosa, AL. Christopher works primarily out of the Golden Valley office, but spends one day every week at the Rockford office seeing clients. Christopher has experience providing therapy to clients in a variety of settings including hospital based, community based, and private practice. His areas of expertise include working with families, couples, and individuals who are bravely facing their experiences of traumatic events, substance abuse, mood and anxiety, depression, family conflict,and major life transition.
Christopher uses a holistic approach, which emphasizes life balance and self care, in helping others to address their own struggles both past and present. Other approaches Christopher uses include Solution Focused Therapy, Dialectical and Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Existential, and Family Systems. His current research interests include the exploration and analysis of values; where they come from, why they are important, and how they drive conscious and subconscious decision-making. Christopher has a diverse Christian faith background and welcomes people of all faiths to partner with him to find peace and a steady hope for the future.
