What to Expect

Initial Contact

  1. When you contact CRC for the first time, we will ask you for your contact and identify information and your method of payment.  If you are using insurance, we recommend having your insurance card with you when you call.  We also recommend that you contact your insurance company to determine if your insurance plan covers out patient mental health care from Christian Recovery Counseling.  Please see our list of accepted insurance companies.
  2. If you are in need of financial assistance, we will gladly provide you with a brief, easy-to-complete financial assistance application.
  3. We will ask you to briefly share your needs and concerns so we can match you with the best therapist for you.
  4. We will ask you how you heard about CRC.
  5. We will email, fax or mail you the necessary documents for your first appointment, as well as confirmation of the date, time and directions to your first appointment.

Your first appointment

  1. You will bring your intake documents, co-pay, if applicable, and insurance card, if applicable.
  2. Your therapist will spend this time reviewing your intake documents, getting to know you and understanding your treatment goals.
  3. You and your therapist will discuss a treatment plan and will agree upon future appointment times.

Financial Assistance

CRC is honored and grateful that we are able to assist many of our clients with the cost of our services.  Whether you have no insurance, insurance with an unmanageable co-pay or insurance with a large deductible, CRC desires to turn no one away due to an inability to pay.  CRC is able to provide financial assistance due to the generous donations of our many faithful supporters.  Please call or email us with questions or for a Financial Assistance Application.
