Staff Openings

Part-time Therapist Position in our Golden Valley location within Restoration Project

CRC is a Rule 29 nonprofit community mental health clinic whose primary mission is to help clients find hope, healing, and freedom from the impact of abuse. We are seeking an additional experienced mental health professional to join our team of therapists working evenings and/or Saturday (approximately 15 hours per week). The therapist who fills this position will work in our Golden Valley office within our Restoration Project program co-facilitating therapy groups and potentially seeing individual RP clients. Other duties include: maintaining organized electronic out-patient records in accordance with treatment policy requirements, attending and participating in clinical staff case consultation meetings, and following CRC’s policies and procedures.

Ideal candidate is:

  • Licensed or license-eligible (LICSW, LMFT, LPCC, LP) in the state of Minnesota (licensed provider preferred).
  • Able to work late afternoons or early evenings (approximately 3-8pm) in our Golden Valley office. Opportunity to work additional hours may be possible if chosen candidate would desire this.
  • Experience working with clients who have engaged in harmful sexual behaviors (see description of our Restoration Project program for more information: https://www.christianrecoverycounseling.org/services/restoration-project/)
  • Experienced working with clients presenting with trauma or abuse.
  • Experienced conducting group therapy.
  • Comfortable working in a Christian environment with clients who are seeking to incorporate their faith into psychotherapy.

Full-time Therapist in Golden Valley Office

CRC is a Rule 29 nonprofit community mental health clinic whose primary mission is to help clients find hope, healing, and freedom from the impact of abuse. We are seeking an additional experienced mental health professional to join our team of therapists working full time in our Golden Valley office. The therapist who accepts this position will be expected to have approximately 20-25 available client hours per week and to work at least two evenings per week (until 8pm). In this role you will build and maintain a caseload while designing and implementing treatment/interventions reflective of identified client needs. Other duties include: maintaining organized electronic out-patient records in accordance with treatment policy requirements; attending and participating in clinical staff case consultation meetings; and following CRC’s policies and procedures.

Ideal candidate is:

  • Preferably licensed (LICSW, LMFT, LPCC, LP) in the state of Minnesota. Unlicensed candidates with strong clinical experience may also apply.
  • Generalist practitioner comfortable working with a range of psychological concerns.
  • Experienced working with clients who have engaged in harmful sexual behaviors or sexual offenses and able to work within our Restoration Project program conducting individual and group therapy (please visit https://www.christianrecoverycounseling.org/services/restoration-project/ for more information).
  • Experienced with clients presenting with trauma or abuse.
  • Possibility of fall hours in our Rockford office if candidate desires.
  • Comfortable working in a Christian environment with clients who are seeking to incorporate their faith into psychotherapy.
